Tree Count

Tomorrow Foundation Tree Count

Have you ever wondered what the tangible benefits are of the trees in front of your house?

What about the trees directly on your property?

The Tomorrow Foundation is conducting a tree count this summer of the Queen Alexandra neighbourhood and we want you!

This pilot project is to help the Tomorrow Foundation gather necessary information on the benefits of trees on private property.

At the end of the summer we will provide a report with a data breakdown of how the trees in the neighbourhood can potentially help save you and the City money. For private homeowners we can also provide a report for your specific property.

Gathering the tree data will help inform City policy and decisions when it comes to planting green infrastructure throughout the city. This will feed into City goals such as planting trees, neighbourhood renewal, and supporting a data based direct action approach in mitigating climate change.

How can you help us?

Join us in measuring and counting trees!
Give us permission to enter your private property to count trees!
